Parameters Workbench

The parameters workbench is a table showing all block parameters for the current chain. One column per block, in chain order.

Parameters that don't apply to a role show . A colored dot (●) next to a value shows its provenance source.

Editing a value

  1. Click the field you want to edit
  2. Type the new value (use negative numbers for losses, e.g., −1.5 for 1.5 dB insertion loss)
  3. Press Tab or Enter to confirm, or Esc to cancel

On confirm, the value is saved with User source and High confidence, and the analysis re-runs immediately.

Frequency unit selector

For frequency parameters, a dropdown unit selector (kHz / MHz / GHz) appears next to the input. The displayed value automatically converts when you change the unit.

Clearing vs. zero

ActionEffect
Enter 0Sets the parameter to 0 (valid value)
Clear the field (delete all text, confirm)Removes the value; downstream metrics become UNKNOWN

A zero gain and a missing gain are treated differently by the analysis engine.

Provenance badges

Each value displays a colored badge indicating where the value came from:
